Gulf trade shows that changed their names: Arab Health is WHX Dubai, Intersec is Intersec Global
Eleven shows in the Gulf calendar run under a new name, and the laboratory show once called Medlab Middle East becomes a zone inside WHX Dubai from 2027.

Eleven shows in the Gulf exhibitions calendar run under a new name. A twelfth, the laboratory show once called Medlab Middle East, stops being a separate show in 2027.
Two of the changes are in healthcare. WHX Dubai, formerly Arab Health, runs from 25 to 28 January 2027 across Dubai Exhibition Centre and Dubai World Trade Centre, according to its organiser, Informa Markets. Medlab Middle East was renamed WHX Labs Dubai, and from 2027 it is a zone inside WHX Dubai.

What changed with the name
- Intersec Global: the organiser, Messe Frankfurt Middle East, announced the new name in January 2026.
- Entertainment & Leisure MENA: the organiser says the show is now aimed at buyers from the GCC, India and Africa.
- EMTEC: the organiser says PetroEnvironment has relaunched under this name, at Dhahran Expo.
- LIGHTSPACE Saudi Arabia: it runs inside INDEX Saudi Arabia, which shares its dates and venue with Hotel & Hospitality Expo Saudi Arabia.
- Marble and Stone Saudi Arabia: the organiser lists it in the May 2027 edition of Big 5 Construct Saudi.
One listing under a different name
Expo Centre Sharjah’s calendar lists the 2027 edition of the International Education Show as Sharjah Education Week, from 10 to 14 October 2027.
