Lead capture for healthcare and medical sales teams
Medical devices and supplies are sold on hospital and clinic visits and at the big healthcare shows, often by a distributor acting for several manufacturers. SEL XP records which product line each conversation was about, hands it to the right person and puts it in your CRM within a minute.

On customer sites
- Who your team visits
- Biomedical engineers, department heads and clinicians, procurement and tender committees, and clinic owners.
- What a visit is for
- A demonstration or a trial, registration and approvals, a quotation for a tender, and training and service terms.
- How the week runs
- Planned visits to hospitals and clinics, with several departments seen on one visit.
At exhibitions
- Who comes to the stand
- Distributors and dealers seeking agencies, who are the largest group, with hospital procurement teams, biomedical engineers, clinicians and government buyers.
- What they ask for
- A catalogue, a distributor price list, territory exclusivity, regulatory status and local registration, demonstration units or samples.
- How long a deal takes
- 2 to 6 months to appoint a distributor, 6 to 18 months for hospital equipment. Consumables can be ordered on the stand.
The problem
What goes wrong between the meeting and the sale
- 01
Thirty countries in one afternoon
Every distributor wants exclusivity for a different market. Without the territory written down, the regional manager starts again from a name.
- 02
Distributor or hospital?
A dealer, a biomedical engineer and a clinician need three different answers. Their cards do not say which they are.
- 03
One stand, several principals
A distributor exhibits for four manufacturers. Each lead belongs to one of them, and each principal wants its own report.
- 04
Five departments in one hospital visit
A rep sees biomedical engineering, radiology and procurement in a morning. Who asked for which trial is clear in the corridor and gone by the evening.
How SEL XP fits
Built for the way healthcare teams sell
Role and interest in three taps
Mark the visitor's role and the product lines they asked about. The note takes the territory, and the score shows who is ready to talk terms.
The right catalogue for each line
Catalogues are matched to the product interests you tapped and sent as a link the visitor can open on any phone.
A card for each principal
A rep who sells for several companies has a card for each, and a lead captured for a company goes to that company and its CRM.
To whoever owns the market
Managers hand the day's leads to the right person or team, with their open tasks, and the new owner is told.
Arabic and English
Cards, the app and the follow-up work in both languages, and names are kept in both scripts.
Consent on record
Each lead records why you may contact them. Someone who asked not to be contacted gets no follow-up.
The same screen in Arabic and in English
Cards are read in both scripts, names are kept in both, and each person on your team uses the app in the language they prefer.

What your team does, and when
- Before
Set up each company or principal with its own products, catalogues and branding. Decide who owns which market.
- On the stand
Scan the card, tap role and product lines, note the territory, send the catalogue. Dictate anything about terms.
- Each evening
The regional manager reviews the day and hands each lead to whoever owns that market.
- The week after
Distributor terms and demonstrations are tasks with dates. The manager sees which hot leads are still waiting.

Questions
Healthcare and medical: what teams ask
Can medical reps use it on hospital visits?
Yes. A rep records each person met on the visit with the product lines they asked about, and chooses Client meeting or Site visit as how they met. Imaging departments and basements often have no signal, so everything is saved on the phone and sent later. It is for business contacts, not patient information.
How do medical device companies manage distributor leads from a trade show?
Record the distributor's territory and the product lines they want at the stand, then hand the lead to whoever owns that market. In SEL XP the rep taps role and product interest, notes the territory, sends the matching catalogue at once, and a manager assigns the lead with one tap.
We exhibit for several manufacturers. Can leads be kept separate for each?
Yes. Each company or principal is set up as its own unit, with its own products, catalogues, branding and CRM connection. A rep chooses which one a lead is for, and reports can be narrowed to one of them.
Does the app store patient or clinical data?
No. SEL XP holds business contact details and sales notes about the people your team meets. It is not designed for patient records and should not be used for them.
